Private Game Lodge Overlooking a Busy Waterhole in Pilanesberg
Accommodation & Setting
Black Rhino Game Lodge offers spacious suites with private bathrooms and air conditioning, each located within the private Black Rhino Concession. The lodge has an outdoor swimming pool with a shallow end and a hide that overlooks a busy waterhole where animals gather. Guests have access to a garden, outdoor fireplace, outdoor furniture, and a terrace with sun loungers and pool towels.
Dining
All meals are included at the on-site restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with options for special diet menus and wine/champagne. Guests can dine in the outdoor dining boma, a traditional enclosure that adds to the bush experience. The bar provides fruits and beverages, and daily housekeeping keeps the dining areas fresh.
Game Drives
Two daily safaris are conducted, one in the Pilanesberg National Park and the other within the private Black Rhino Concession, with game drives operating year-round. Morning and afternoon drives are led by knowledgeable rangers who use open vehicles to maximize wildlife sightings. Guests are provided with ponchos and blankets during cold mornings, and sundowners are served on the evening drive.
Spa & Wellness
The spa and wellness centre offers a range of massages including back, couples, foot, full body, hand, head, and neck massages in a dedicated spa lounge and relaxation area. The outdoor swimming pool, with its shallow end, provides a cooling dip between drives. Sun loungers and pool towels are available for guests who wish to relax poolside.
