Amenities & Activities
The camp has an outdoor swimming pool with a pool bar and a shallow end for children. Game drives depart twice daily, with the park limiting sightings to a maximum of three vehicles to keep encounters intimate. Guests can watch elephants from the pool deck or the outdoor fireplace as they drink from the river below.
Dining
Meals are served in the communal dining room with wooden floors and a fireplace for cooler evenings. The kitchen offers a kid-friendly buffet, kids' meals, special diet menus, and a snack bar. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner are included, with coffee and tea available throughout the day.
Accommodations
The tent suites are air-conditioned and each has a private patio overlooking the Madikwe valley and river. Family tent suites include an extra sleeper couch for children. All suites come with mosquito nets, tea/coffee facilities, and a private bathroom.
Location & Wildlife
The camp lies inside the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, a 3.5-hour drive from OR Tambo Airport and 20 km from Gaberone. The reserve limits game-drive vehicles to a maximum of three at any sighting, reducing stress on animals and allowing closer views. Regular visits by elephants to the river in front of the camp are a daily highlight.
Family & Services
Children older than six years can join the game drives; a babysitting service is available for younger children at an additional charge. Room service, laundry, and ironing can be arranged through reception. Massages can be booked on the guest's own terrace, and free parking is provided on site.
