Tau Game Lodge is situated in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, the fourth largest game reserve in South Africa. Located on the far northern border of South Africa, the lodge is easily accessible, being a four-hour drive from Johannesburg or a short 50-minute scheduled flight from Johannesburg International Airport. The combination of diverse habitats within the reserve allows for exceptional viewing of various wildlife species.

The lodge features thirty luxury thatched chalets, each positioned to provide remarkable views of the waterhole. Chalets are equipped with private viewing decks, en suite bathrooms, and open-air showers, enhancing the connection with nature. For families, the Family Suite consists of two semi-interleading bedrooms, accommodating up to six guests comfortably.
Dining
Guests enjoy meals at Tau Game Lodge's main area overlooking the waterhole, with dining options that include buffet breakfasts, lunches, and dinners served in bomas beneath the stars.
